The Noosa Tewantin Surf Club is a true Australian classic. Positioned in prime real estate, this iconic surf club is one of Australia’s most visited spots attracting both locals and tourists from all over the world.
When the Noosa Heads-based surf club called in Wilko Painting for their large renovation, the team were willing, honoured, and more than able to step up to the challenge.
The project took 6 months to complete. Working day and night, repainting was completed indoors and outdoors, with 4 of Wilko Painting’s best talents working full-time. The job required a keen eye for detail and carefully-planned execution. Parts coloured in gold had come from Porters Paints, brushed onto with decorative touches to give it that iconic Noosa Surf Club feel. A combination of products from the toughest brands out there, Porters Paints and Dulux, were used to meet the specifications of the project.
As the project progressed, bigger considerations were taken into account such as higher-grade specification elements used on the exterior walls (to protect surfaces from salt air) and texturing different surfaces that demanded individualised precision. The interior walls and ceiling also showcased intricate, decorative features that were finished in gold. Fortunately, Wilko Painting staff are trained and experienced in adaptability which ultimately ushered the project into its successful completion.
